From the Rhine to the Spree: We are delighted to present a fine selection from our portfolio in what is probably Germany’s most famous department store. The legendary “Kaufhaus des Westen” (or KaDeWe for short) on Berlin’s Wittenbergplatz has been a magnet for shoppers ever since its debut in 1907. Now an international department store with 60,000 square meters of floor space, it attracts an international clientele in search of exclusive items. In the so-called “Home Atelier” on the fifth floor, you can find individual interior items by designers and specialized manufacturers such as luiz. We are always happy to welcome you to such wonderful surroundings!

The Interior Days Coeln took place from 11 to 13 September. Initiated by luiz, this small but fine in-house exhibition was conceived as a contemporary alternative to the big shows of the year that were cancelled due to the coronavirus. On three days, each with three time slots of three hours each, we collaborated with nine renowned labels from the interior industry to give our trade partners opportunities to place autumn orders and to hold small-scale discussions – naturally in compliance with current hygiene regulations. The weekend’s hotspot for the latest home textiles, floor and wall-wear was located at Beerstrasse 9, our company’s new location in Hürth.

We presented our current collection at the International Furniture Fair in Cologne in January 2020. Customers from around the world responded enthusiastically. Our new collection stands for an atmosphere of creativity and emotion, handcraftsmanship and modernity, tradition and quality, people and their desire for peace and relaxation – in a nutshell: the opportunity to experience textile luxury in a new and uncomplicated way.
